Meet the Team
Oliver has a Degree in BSc (Hons) Sports rehabilitation. He gained this from the University Of Cumbria (Carlisle) in 2015. During 2018 he qualified to deliver medical acupuncture in my clinic, after attending a course ran by OMT Training.
Since completing his degree he has worked for Kendal Town FC, Bamber Bridge FC, He then went on to become Medical Team Lead at Blackpool FC Academy. In January 2019 after 2 years with Blackpool FC he moved to Barrow AFC to work with their first team. In June 2019 he left Barrow AFC and became Assistant 1st Team therapist with Morecambe FC who play in League 2, and that is where he is today alongside the clinic.
Oliver opened the clinic as soon as he finished university in 2015. He Started out just doing home visits and progressed to a clinic in Bamber Bridge while working for the football team then. After Bamber Bridge he moved back to my home area and set up a clinic in Bolton-Le-Sands, and this is where the clinic is today.
Oliver's hobby is running and consider's himself a keen runner. He completed at BUCS Nationals in the 800m but his passion lays in long distance running. So far his longest race to date is a 40 mile ultra marathon. He started running at a very young age and has had many injuries along the way. He was always fascinated about what was causing these problems and how they could be fixed. This is where his story as a sports rehabilitator began. Along with running he has a big passion for Football, a big reason why he work's in the sport. He bring's the professionalism and treatment skills from a professional team and implement them into sessions at the clinic.
