I'm Oliver and i have a BSc (Hons) Sports rehabilitation degree. I gained this from the University Of Cumbria (Carlisle) in 2015. During 2018 I qualified to deliver medical acupuncture in my clinic, after attending a course ran by OMT Training. I am always looking at ways to enhance my skills to offer more choice of treatments at my clinic.
Since completing my degree i have worked for Kendal Town FC, Bamber Bridge FC, I then went on to become Medical Team Lead at Blackpool FC Academy. In January 2019 after 2 years with Blackpool FC I moved to Barrow AFC to work with their first team. In June 2019 I left Barrow AFC and became Assistant 1st Team therapist with Morecambe FC who play in League 2, and that is where I am today alongside the clinic.
I Opened the clinic as soon as i finished university in 2015. I Started out just doing home visits and progressed to a clinic in Bamber Bridge while working for the football team then. After Bamber Bridge I moved back to my home area and set up a clinic in Bolton-Le-Sands, and this is where I am to this day. The Clinic has grown from month to month and I am really grateful to everyone who have visited so far and who has helped along the way!
My Hobby is running and consider myself a keen runner. I have completed at BUCS Nationals in the 800m but my passion lays in long distance running. So far my longest race to date is a 40 mile ultra marathon. I started running at a very young age and as you can guess I've had majority if not all common running injuries. I was always fascinated about what was causing these problems and how they could be fixed. This is where my story as a sports rehabilitator began. Along with running I have a big passion for Football, hence why I work in the sport. I bring the professionalism and treatment skills from a professional team and implement them into sessions at my clinic.
